Grand Canyon University 4 credits Doctor of Nursing Practice
This course provides DNP learners with the structure and support necessary to implement their approved evidence-based quality improvement (QI) projects. Learners execute their intervention within the practice setting, ensuring fidelity to their project design, methodology, and ethical guidelines. During the implementation phase, learners focus on data collection, stakeholder engagement, and process evaluation to ensure the project is conducted effectively. Learners also gather and document data systematically, maintaining compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements while addressing any barriers to implementation. Learners successfully complete their intervention and collect all necessary data for subsequent analysis and outcome evaluation. Required practice immersion hours must include 75 direct and 100 indirect hours. Practicum/field experience hours: 175. Prerequisite: Prerequisite: DNP-956B.
